Dagny Releases Three New Acoustic Songs “Knowing You”, “Jupiter” & “Heavy Tonight”
Norwegian singer-songwriter Dagny released three new acoustic songs “Knowing You”, “Jupiter”, and “Heavy Tonight” as a single “JUPITER” on November 14, 2025.
This is her first project in over a year since the 2024 mini-album “ELLE”.
She wrote these songs for Norwegian TV series “Hjem til Jul” (English: “Home for Christmas”) directed by Per-Olav Sørensen.
“Knowing You” and “Jupiter” were written and produced by Dagny and Nick Hahn.
“Heavy Tonight” was written by Dagny, Johan Lindbrandt, Nick Hahn and Vera Hotsauce. Produced by Johan Lindbrandt.- Dagny said of three songs, “My friend Per Olav Sørenser is the director of the series “Hjem til Jul”. He said they were looking for songs for the show. I started listening through my Dropbox and realized how many acoustic songs I have - that I love - but never find room for on an album. So I took the opportunity and sent him a folder. He loved them and after a bit of back and forth we landed on these three darlings: 'Jupiter', 'Heav Tonight', 'Knowing You'.”
