  • Bastille Returns With New Song “SAVE MY SOUL”

  • British pop rock band Bastille, consisting of Dan Smith (vocals/keyboards), Kyle Simmons (keyboards), Will Farquarson (guitar), Chris 'Woody' Wood (drums), returned with a new song “SAVE MY SOUL” on November 21, 2025.

The song is their first music in three years since the 2022 album “Give Me the Future” and received its first play during BBC Radio 2.
The track came together when the band reunited for recent tour rehearsals. The band first performed the song during “From All Sides” tour at Plymouth on November 5, 2025.
It was written and produced by Dan Smith, with production by Will Bloomfield.

The band frontman Dan Smith said of the song, “We hadn't really thought of working on new music, but 'SAVE MY SOUL' came about from us all hanging out and rehearsing for these gigs recently. We've really loved playing it at these shows and are really excited to be releasing something new. It’s been a while.”
  • Keyboards player Kyle Simmons added, “We've got a new song. So we're just all in rehearsals, not hurting a fly. We haven't played for two years. So we're working really hard to try and get the show together. We're up against the clock here. Dan bowls into rehearsals and says he's got this idea for a song. So this is great. Great news. And then he's like, and I think we should play it. And I'm like, Yeah, sweet. Next year can't wait to play this new song. It'd be great. Great idea. He's like, No, I think we should play it for this tour. Working on a new song. It's called 'SAVE MY SOUL'. It's all about saving souls. Mine in particular. We're at the stage where no-one knows their parts. I do not feel prepared. So many parts, I don't know. It's like a handful of late nights, but guess what? We got it done.”
