  • Leigh-Anne Releases New Song “Friends” featuring Rvssian

  • British singer-songwriter and former Little Mix, Leigh-Anne joined forces with Jamaican record producer Rvssian to release a new song “Friends” on November 21, 2025.

This marks the first collaboration between Leigh-Anne and Rvssian.
The song is the fourth single off of her upcoming debut solo album “My Ego Told Me To”, which is set to be released on February 20, 2026 via Virgin Music.
It was written by Duijai Blake, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Oswaldo Rangel, Tarik Johnston, Terique Johnson, Theron Thomas, and Rvssian, who also produced the track.
The accompanying music video was directed by DIFTY.

Leigh-Anne said of the song, “Friends is one of those tracks that you can't help but vibe and move too. It’s produced by Rvssian and built on the iconic Gogo Riddim, so straight away it had that undeniable energy. I’ve loved working with Rvssian, we’ve got another track together on my album and during one of our sessions, he mentioned this record written by Nija and Theron that he wanted to hear me on. He played me the demo and I fell in love with it instantly. I went in, made it my own and I instantly loved it. This one really captures that sweet spot where pop and bashment blend perfectly. I’ve always loved bringing my own pop stamp to Caribbean inspired sounds, and this track encapsulates exactly how those worlds can live together.”
  • She continued, “The song takes me back to when I’d just learned to drive me and my girls would pile into the car and head down to London just to party. That carefree vibe, the laughter, the love it’s all there in Friends. At its heart, the song is about the people who truly show up for you, the ones who’ve got your back no matter what and learning to spot who doesn’t. For me, it comes from growth. I’ve been through enough to know energy doesn’t lie, and now I’m surrounded by people who really see me and ride for me. That's what this track truly celebrates.”

  • The debut album comprises 15 tracks, featuring collaborations with Clarence “Coffee” Jr., Owen Cutts, Khris Riddick, Rvssian, and Fred Ball.
It combines pop, R&B, dancehall, and reggae, reflecting her Caribbean heritage.

Leigh-Anne said of the album, “This album is the truest representation of me as an artist. Versatile, rooted in reggae and my heritage, but stamped with pop. It's personal and impossible to box in. I wanted it to feel authentic, blending the genres I love with a sound that's distinctly mine.”
