Paris WYA Releases New Song “Treat Me Right”
New York-based Chinese singer-songwriter Paris WYA released a new song “Treat Me Right” on November 14, 2025.
The song is the second single off of her upcoming EP “MANNEQUIN”, following “Only Time Will Tell” released last month.
The EP is the follow-up to the 6-track EP “GLITCH”, which was released back in August.
A love letter to the ghost of what could have been, the track earnestly combines soft acoustic guitar with synth percussive elements to accentuate her underlying desire for reconciliation.
It was written by Emma Taylor, Jessica Caroline Meng, and Adrian Cota, who also produced the track.
Paris WYA said of the song, “It's about the kind of first love that never leaves quietly, the one that lingers in muscle memory, in the shape of someone's hand, in the way they once said your name. It's about looking back with open wounds, and still believing somewhere deep down that if they had just loved you right, maybe you could've made it.”- She added, “Had a special feeling the moment I heard the demo for this one... loving potential over reality, holding on just a little longer than we should. I hope this song finds you the way it found me.”
