Krooked Kings Releases New Song “Parking Lot”

Salt Lake City-based indie rock band Krooked Kings, consisting of Oli Martin (vocals/guitar), Paul Colgan (guitar), David Macey (keyboards), Matt Monosson (bass), and Quinn Casper (drums), released a new song “Parking Lot” on November 12, 2025.
The track is an ode to the honeymoon phase of love, showcasing the band’s signature blend of heartfelt storytelling and anthemic energy.
The song serves as a bright counterpoint to their previous release from last month, “Rancher's Daughter”, which explored themes of unrequited love.
It was written by Dave Macey, Harmony Tividad, Josh Wei, Matt Monosson, Oliver Martin, Paul Colgan, Quinn Casper, Ryan Hahn, and Yves Rothman. Produced by Yves Rothman.- The band keyboard player David Macey said of the song, “'Parking Lot' is a romantic daydream; the imagining of what a future life with a new crush could look like. Which can be sort of embarrassing but also a very fun thing to get swept up in. For the band it was very local, we can all picture the bar, parking lot, etc. in Salt Lake City that the song is happening at. Still, listeners will instantly be able to paint this song into their own local dive with their own intense crush.”
