Miley Cyrus Releases New Song “Dream As One” from James Cameron's New Film “Avatar: Fire and Ash”

American singer-songwriter Miley Cyrus released a new song “Dream As One” on November 14, 2025.
She wrote the song for James Cameron's upcoming film “Avatar: Fire and Ash”, which is schedule to be released on December 19, 2025.
The track was written and produced by Miley Cyrus, British-American producer Mark Ronson, and American producer Andrew Wyatt.
Miley Cyrus, Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt worked together on her 2020 album “Plastic Hearts”.
Also, Mark Ronson worked with Miley Cyrus on his 2019 album "Late Night Feelings".
Miley Cyrus said of the song, “Honored to support Avatar: Fire and Ash with an original song I've written with Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt. Every lyric remembers where we've been, reflects where we are, and holds hope for what's ahead for all of us. It was an honor to create something so personal for a film that connects so deeply with people around the world.”- She continued, “Having been personally affected by fire and being rebuilt from the ashes, this project holds profound meaning for me. Thank you, Jim, for the opportunity to turn that experience into musical medicine. The film's themes of unity, healing, and love resonate deeply within my soul, and to be even a small star in the universe the Avatar family has created is truly a dream come true.”
- The film “Avatar: Fire and Ash” is the sequel to the 2022 film ”Avatar: The Way of Water” and the third installment in the Avatar film series.
It was directed by James Cameron, starring Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, and Kate Winslet.
Two additional sequels, Avatar 4 and Avatar 5, are expected to be released in 2029 and 2031, respectively.
James Cameron told Rolling Stone about the film, “I've justified making Avatar movies to myself for the last 20 years, not based on how much money we made, but on the basis that hopefully it can do some good, it can help connect us, it can help connect us to our lost aspect of ourself that connects with nature and respects nature and all those things. So do I think that movies are the answer to our human problems? No, I think they're limited because people sometimes just want entertainment, and they don't want to be challenged in that way. I think Avatar is a Trojan horse strategy that gets you into a piece of entertainment, but then works on your brain and your heart a little bit in a way.” - source : Apple Music
