  • Debra-Jean Creelman Returns With New Song “Bloom” featuring Kendel Carson

  • Vancouver-based singer-songwriter Debra-Jean Creelman returned with a new song “Bloom” on November 7, 2025.

The song is her first music in over year since the 2024 album “Ego Death”.
Also, the track will appear on her upcoming fifth studio album “Little Town”, which is set to be released on December 5, 2025.
On the track, she teamed up with Canadian fiddler Kendel Carson.
Debra-Jean Creelman recorded the song live to tape in a barn in Catskill, NY, with ensemble of collaborators, including Sean Cronin on acoustic guitar, Noah B. Harley on bass, Andy Weaver on drums, and Adam Brisbin on pedal steel.
The track is a deeply human exploration of honesty, imperfection, and the quiet courage it takes to face oneself.
It was written and produced by Debra-Jean Creelman and Sean Cronin.
  • Debra-Jean Creelman said of the song, “The goal was to make something soulful that properly reflected my biggest musical influences and had my vocals front and centre. I wanted it to be something that would translate well live – more of an emotional experience for the listener rather than a cerebral one.”

The new album comprises 17 tracks, recorded live to analog tape with long-time collaborator Sean Cronin across Galiano Island and at Basement Floods Records in Catskill, NY. It exudes warmth, texture, and soul.
