Poppy Announces New Album “Empty Hands”, Shares New Song “Bruised Sky”

Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Poppy has announced her upcoming seventh studio album “Empty Hands” will be released on January 23, 2026 via Sumerian Records.
The album comprises 13 tracks, which she worked with former Bring Me The Horizon member and record producer Jordan Fish.
According to a press release, the album keeps blurring the lines between metal and avant-pop.
The album features Jordan Fish on production, guitar, and keyboards, Johnuel Hasney on bass and guitar, and Ralph Alexander on drums.
Both of Poppy and Jordan Fish worked together, following her sixth studio album “Negative Spaces” released last November.
Poppy told NME about working with Jordan Fish in an interview in 2024, “He's such a creative force. Jordan is very good at tracking performance. We both have an appreciation for heavy music and more saccharine pop music. I think the commonalities in our tastes unite for this record.”- From the album, she released a new song “Bruised Sky” on November 12, 2025.
The song is the second single off, following “Unravel” released last month.
It was written by Poppy, Stephen Harrison, and Jordan Fish, who also produced it.
The accompanying music video was directed by Orie McGinness. -
Poppy embarks on “Constantly Nowhere Tour” in support of the album in Australia, the UK, and Europe.
The tour kicks off at The Fortitude Music Hall in Brisbane, Australia on January 20, 2026 and will conclude at House Of Culture in Helsinki, Finland on April 10, 2026.
