Eliza Rose Premieres New Song “Too Slow (All Night)” with Oppidan on BBC Radio 1

London-based DJ Eliza Rose premiered a new song “Too Slow (All Night)” on BBC Radio 1's New Music Show with Jack Saunders.
On the track, she teamed up with British DJ Oppidan.
This marks the first collaboration between Eliza Rose and Oppidan.
The song is the follow-up to “Weekend” with The Trip, which was released back in July.
Created in a few hours one night in London during a spontaneous studio session, the track is built for the dancefloor, showcasing the duo’s shared love of UK soundsystem music and culture.
It was written by Eliza Rose and Isobel Fielding. Produced by Eliza Rose and Oppidan.
The accompanying music video was directed by Jessica Clover Belgrave.
Eliza Rose said of the song, “'Too Slow (All Night)' is about encouraging people to dance, move, groove, let go of your inhibitions, don't think you're too cool - just enjoy yourself and let loose, I also hope it could be a good energy injection when needed. We all have a lag moment when we're been having a boogie for hours. It's a little ReVitaliser, energiser riddem, an excuse to drag a friend / lover / stranger back to the dance floor.”- Eliza Rose told Jack Saunders about the song, “It was a song that nearly never happened. Basically, I turned up at the completely wrong address. And I went to the other side of London. We were meant to be meeting in West and I go to Croydon, and I end up on this random street. And I was like, 'Sean, the studio is not here, because this does not look like where studio should be.' And then, wrong Oppidan, and she said, 'You had the totally wrong location.' So we were going to call it off because it off, because there wasn't really much time. It was only quite a short session anyway. And I was like, 'Right, let's just do it.' So we got there, we only had, like, what an hour and a half, two hours in the studio, and we managed to create an absolute little banger. So diamonds under pressure is what we were kind of going with. And so we nearly called it off, but it just shows you don't know what you can create, really.”

Oppidan said, “I haven't really made anything that's like that funky, I think, for quite a while. And I knew that with Eliza it would be like that. I kind of like wanted a bit more female energy. I haven't made a song with a girl in ages, so.” - source : BBC Radio 1
