Abbie Callahan Releases New Song “Simon Says”
Nashville-based country pop singer-songwriter Abbie Callahan released her brand new song “Simon Says” on November 7, 2025.
It is her first single since her acclaimed debut EP “Grossly Aware”, which was released back in July.
The track turns heartbreak into a playful country-folk anthem, blending banjo-driven warmth and lyrical wit with a story every woman knows all too well.
It was written by Abbie Callahan, Aron Rosing, and Emma Klein. Produced by Oscar Charles, who also produced her debut EP.
Abbie Callahan said of the song, “'Simon Says' started as a really sad diary entry. With time, I was able to look at it more objectively, and to bring some lightness to it, I framed the situationship as a long game of Simon Says.”
She added, “Really grateful that Sabrina Carpenter is finally letting me release this song!!”- Before the release of the song, Abbie Callahan signed to WME for global representation across all areas.
She said, “I am beyond grateful to join the incredible team at WME. This year has been full of firsts.
