Rich Allo Releases New Song “You”

St. Helier-based pop-rock singer-songwriter Rich Allo released a new song “You” on November 7, 2025.
The song is the follow-up to ”Sabre Teeth”, which was released back in August.
Inspired by the euphoric, emotional soundscapes of M83 and Greet Death, the song moves from quiet restraint to a full emotional eruption-mirroring the battle of trying to hold yourself together when life overwhelms you. The track doesn't spell out a specific story; instead, it chases a feeling: a tension between hope and devastation, control and collapse.
It was written and produced by Rich Allo.
Rich Allo said of the song, “Sometimes you don't quite know what you're writing about or who to, but it still hits somewhere real. 'You' came from that place.”- He continued, “I literally sat down one night in February of this year and just started jamming away, as I often do. And discovered this chord progression, which I liked, this immediately just kind of created a vibe for me. And I figured that I could kind of just leave this on repeat for hours, and I kind of did, in a way, but when I was sat at the piano, I started improvising the lyrics and building the song like a house, as I always do.”

He added, “So everything just kind of grew into one big, larger than life song, and bands like M83 and Greet Death were big influences behind this. I just wanted to try and create something that feels like a bit of a journey. And I think this song chases a feeling more so than chasing a story. There's definitely something really devastating in it, I think, but also hopeful underneath.”
