Sassy 009 Releases New Song “Tell Me” featuring Blood Orange
Oslo-based singer-songwriter Sunniva Lindgård's solo project Sassy 009 will release her upcoming debut album “Dreamer+” on January 16, 2026 via HEAVEN-SENT and [PIAS] Électronique.
From the album, Sassy 009 released the second single called “Tell Me” on October 16, 2025, following “Butterflies”.
On the track, she teamed up with New York-based British singer-songwriter Blood Orange.
The track was written by Devonté Hynes, and Sunniva Lindgård, who also produced it.
Sunniva Lindgård said of the song, “This song represents a mood that has been with me for quite a few years. It was created in my home town Oslo, and I sent it off to Dev a couple of months back. Been waiting for the moment for us to make a song together ever since we met back in 2019, and I really couldn't hear anyone else but him on this one. So happy I followed my gut and passed it over, his contribution was just what was needed for it to finally settle into its true home. Drums and guitars are performed by my close friend and long time collaborator Elias Tafjord.”- The debut album comprises 12 tracks, featuring guest appearances from BEA1991, yunè pinku, and Blood Orange.
Originally, Sassy 009 began as trio, consisting of Sunniva Lindgård, Teodora Georgijević, and Johanna Scheie Orellana, and released the EP “Do You Mind” in 2017.
But for Sunniva Lindgård, the album is her true debut as solo project under name Sassy 009.
She has spent four years making the album, which explores themes of identity, memory, and the shifting boundaries of the self. -
