Sarah Brix Releases New Song “Who We Used To Be”
Canadian alternative folk-pop singer-songwriter Sarah Brix released her brand new song “Who We Used To Be” on October 31, 2025.
The track captures the magic of finally coming home to the friends who shaped you, the memories that never left, and the moment you realize you've all grown up, telling a universal story of growing up and moving away.
The single is the follow-up to “Still Crave You”, which was released back in March.
It was written and produced by Sarah Brix.
Sarah Brix said of the song, “This song was inspired by the moment all my best friends finally reunited years after moving away. We spent the late night in deep chats at one of our old hangout spots, and I realized how much we'd all grown up, and how special our friendship was to have lasted through all the distance and time. This song is dedicated to them.”- She added, “'Who We Used To Be' is one of my favourite songs I've ever written because it's about some of my favourite people. This song is dedicated to my best friends for sticking by me all these years, throughout all the distance and change. I hope you all enjoy it.”
