Sub Focus Releases New Song “Entwined” featuring Grimes
London-based DJ Sub Focus teamed up with Canadian singer-songwriter Grimes to release a new song “Entwined” on October 31, 2025.
This marks the first collaboration between Sub Focus and Grimes.
For Grimes, the track is her first collaborative single of 2025.
The song will appear on his upcoming fourth studio album “CONTACT”, which is setts be released on November 21, 2025 via Casablanca Records.
It was written by Bruce Fielder, Claire Elise Boucher, Lloyd Zak Steven, Maegan Severia Cottone, Moa Pettersson Hammar, Nicolaas Douwma, and Ollie Green. Produced by Sub Focus.
The pair first performed the song at The Shrine in Los Angeles earlier October.- Grimes said of the song, “I literally could not be more hyped on Sub Focus. Dance music has felt bizarrely sterile and increasingly so over time. Working on some stuff for his record and it's literally hitting like the autistic sci fi shit in all the right places like it rly feels like cinematic, like I'm right in Neuromancer. But also it's genuinely euphoric. It has been so long since I've felt euphoric about dance music.”

The new album is his first body of work in over a year since the 2024 album “Evolve”.
The album comprises 14 tracks, featuring guest appearances from bbyclose, Fireboy DML, Grimes, IRAH, John Summit, Julia Church, Katy B, Connie Constance, Emily Makis, Fireboy DML, Inéz, Poppy Baskcomb and Subsonic. - source : Apple Music
