Freya Ridings Returns With New Song “Wicker Woman”
British singer-songwriter Freya Ridings returned with a new song “Wicker Woman” on October 31, 2025.
It is her first music in over two years since the 2023 album “Blood Orange”.
The song is the first single off of her upcoming third studio album, which is expected to be released in 2026.
Freya Ridings recorded the track, channeling her Celtic roots, with producer Jennifer Decilveo at Beech Tree Sound Studio in Los Angeles.
The accompanying music video was directed by Benjamin Darville.
Freya Ridings said of the song, “'Wicker Woman' is a raw feminist breaking point - bone, blood, and roots ripped from the soil, set alight in a fire that cannot be ignored, it's an unashamed, euphoric celebration of reclaiming primal feminine power, a return to the core of who we are, and an ode to the forgotten women and gods who came before us.”- She added, “It has been such a journey of rebellion, empowerment, joy, grief and it's now embedded in the fibres of my very being. She's an act of defiance in her very being, and I love her for it. For the freedom and fire she gave back to me in a time of darkness.
