Dirty Blonde Releases New Song “Rage (Makes Me Feel Pretty)”
British alt-rock band Dirty Blonde, consisting of Ailis Mackay (vocals/guitar) and Hayley Tait (guitar/vocals), released their brand new song “Rage (Makes Me Feel Pretty)” on October 29, 2025.
The song is their first music since the second EP “Looking For Trouble”, which was released back in April.
The track was inspired by a slogan worn by American rock band Paramore's Hayley Williams and explores themes of female rage and empowerment.
It was written by Ailis Mackay and Hayley Tait. Produced by Larry Hibbitt.
The accompanying music video was directed by Juan A.Garcia.- The band said of the song, “We were inspired by a slogan tee worn by Hayley Williams. 'Rage...' was written to challenge the expectation that women stay quiet and small. This song is about owning every emotion - especially the messy ones — and finding power in letting them out. For anyone who’s ever been told to calm down, this is your song! Anger isn’t something that defeats us, it’s something that completes us!”
