Fred again.. Premieres New Song “HARDSTYLE 2” with KETTAMA & Shady Nasty on BBC Radio 1

London-based music producer Fred again.. premiered a new song “HARDSTYLE 2” on BBC Radio 1's New Music Show with Jack Saunders.
On the track, Fred again.. teamed up with Irish DJ KETTAMA and Australian post-punk-rap band Shady Nasty.
The song will appear on his upcoming album “USB”, which is set to be released on December 12, 2025.
The album comprises 34 tracks, and 12 inch vinyl “USB002” will also be released on the same day.
Currently, Fred again.. has released a new song every Friday for 10 weeks (leading up to the release of the album) and has performed in a different city each week.
The track features British alt-pop singer-songwriter The Japanese House on backing vocals and Dan Mayo on drums.
It was written by Amber Bain, Dan Mayo, Evan Campbell, Fred Gibson, Haydn Green, Kevin Stathis, and Luca Watson. Produced by Fred again.. and KETTAMA.- Fred again.. told Jack Saunders about the song, “This is me, KETTAMA, Shady Nasty, our friend Dan on drums, Amber from Japanese house on some little vocals. Drums are all live. We've been working on this for the last like nine months.”
He continued, “We've been working a lot with Dan Mayo and Philo Tsoungui as well, who we've been touring with. They're two of the sickest drummers in the world, and on this team, Dan's playing. So we've spent the last kind of couple years working a lot on how to produce live drums in a way that it can still be playable, but it doesn't. It still retains the liveness, and it absolutely is playing. It's totally real. But then we've like, gone crazy in on, like, super intricate gating and all sorts of things. That means that it can knock and snap in the right ways that we want it to. But the drums on this to me.” - source : BBC Radio 1
