Melody's Echo Chamber Releases New Song “Eyes Closed”
French singer-songwriter Melody Prochet's project Melody's Echo Chamber will release her upcoming fourth studio album “Unclouded” on December 5, 2025.
From the album, she released a new song “Eyes Closed” on October 29, 2025.
The song is the third single off of the album, following “In The Stars” and “Daisy” with American music producer Leon Michels, aka El Michels Affair.
The track explores the liminal zone between realism and fables.
It was written by Joel Danell and Melody Prochet. Produced by Melody Prochet and Sven Wunder.
Melody Prochet said of the song, “My eyes are closed not in denial, but in devotion—to vibrant memories, to the complexity of human feelings, to seeing more deeply. It's also driven by a resilient aesthetic that emphasizes the beauty of transient things and the bittersweet feeling of their impermanence.”- The new album comprises 12 tracks, featuring a guest appearance from El Michels Affair. It is her first album in three years since the 2022 album “Emotional Eternal”.
The album titles is inspired by a quote from Japanese animator Hayao Miyazaki: “You must see with eyes unclouded by hate. See the good in that which is evil, and the evil in that which is good. Pledge yourself to neither side.”
Melody Prochet said of the album, “I used to feel nostalgic growing into adulthood, but now that I understand that concept of impermanence, I don’t take it as personally anymore.” -
She continued, “The music I create unusually inhabits the liminal zone between realism and fables. But the more experience I have of living, the deeper I love life and the less I need to escape. If my heart still belongs to the blue hour, it also feels like I’ve gathered up all the pieces of myself that were scattered everywhere and glued them together with gold like Japanese kintsugi.” - source : Apple Music
