NERiMA Releases New EP “All My Mistakes”

Toronto-based punk-rock band NERiMA, consists Lexi Orial (vocals/guitar), Vee Nicole (drums), and AJ Paspalis (guitar), released their third EP “All My Mistakes” on September 29, 2025.
This marks their first project in two years since the 2023 EP “Kiss Your Shadows”.
The EP comprise 5 tracks, produced by Daniel Scott Bell. Recently, Vee Nicole left the band. The new EP is the last EP to feature Vee Nicole. Currently, the band consists of four members, in addition to Simon on drums and Cooper on bass.
The record is a dynamic mix of pop-punk intensity, alt-rock edge, and emotional self-awareness.
The band guitarist AJ Paspalis said of the EP, “We spent a lot of time on our first two EPs figuring out what sounds and style choices we like. We really like the heavier easycore instrumentals with pop-punk melodies we've created for All My Mistakes. If this sounds like something you'd enjoy, you'll definitely like 'You Want It, You Got It,' and the rest of the EP.”- The band said, “It's been a long time since we shared the very first song off this album with you all, and we can't believe it's finally time for you all to hear our little music baby in full.”
They continued, “We've been so touched by your love for the songs we've shared so far, and we can't even begin to describe how much your support has meant to us these past five years. It has been so hard to hold onto our favourite new songs for so long, and it's thrilling and a little bittersweet to finally share what we've been building towards all this time.” -
The band explained some tracks for the EP.
“You Want It, You Got It”
“It's written from the perspective of a woman speaking to a pushy man who won't leave her alone,” she explains. “He tries all his old tricks that she's seen hundreds of times, but she plays along and has him completely fooled, until she admits she's just been messing with him and waiting to watch his downfall.
Keeping songs easily digestible and familiar to our favourite genres is great, but trying things you wouldn't think to try is what truly makes a song unique. Having some less conventional parts in 'You Want It, You Got It,' like the triple-instrumental buildup to breakdown to dramatic dropout, really makes it feel like our own.”
“Fifty Years”
“'Fifty Years' is a really fun song sonically, but the lyrics are kind of a huge downer. The person in the song has already convinced themselves that happiness will eventually end, so they can't fully enjoy it now. It's heavy to think about, but it's also a reminder that I don't have to let these worries affect me the way they affect the person in the song.”
“Reverence”
“'Reverence' is about constantly looking up to the celebrities whose lives you've always dreamed of and the experience of hearing about how unhappy they are. I wrote it after hearing about the mental health struggles that some of my favorite bands face. While it makes me feel deeply for them, it also fills me with fear that I might one day achieve my dream life, only to find it isn't what I hoped for.”
