  • ROSALÍA Releases New Song “Berghain” featuring Björk & Yves Tumor

  • Spanish singer-songwriter ROSALÍA joined forces with Icelandic singer-songwriter Björk and American music producer Yves Tumor to release a new song “Berghain” on October 27, 2025.

The song is the first single off of her upcoming fourth studio album “LUX”, which is set to be released on November 7, 2025.
This marks the first collaboration in two years between ROSALÍA and Björk since the 2023 song “Oral”.
ROSALÍA has worked with Yves Tumor for the first time.
Also, the song is full-on opera in Spanish, featuring London Symphony Orchestra.
The track was written by Björk Guðmundsdóttir, Dylan Wiggins, Jake Miller, Noah Goldstein, and Rosalia Vila Tobella. Produced by ROSALÍA, Noah Goldstein, Jake Miller, and Dylan Patrice.
The accompanying music video was directed by Nicolas Méndez.

Björk said, “So extremely honoured to be on this song with ROSALÍA! It is so thrilling to watch this woman grow :
congratulations to her with this incredible album. Switching genre kung-fu style this concept is fierce!”
  • The new album comprises 15 tracks, featuring guest appearances from Björk, Yves Tumor, Yahritza Y Su Esencia, Estrella Morente, Sílvia Pérez Cruz, Carminho, London Symphony Orchestra, and the Escolania de Montserrat i Orfeó Català choir.
On the album, ROSALÍA sings in multiple languages-her native Spanish and Catalan, as well as English, Arabic, French, German, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Latin, Mandarin, Portuguese, Sicilian, and Ukrainian.
She wrote and recorded the album at a private music studio in Los Angeles.

ROSALÍA told ELLE about the album, “The rhythm [of the music industry] is so fast. And the sacrifice, the price to pay, is so high. The driving force that leads you to continue making music, to continue creating, has to come from a place of purity. Motives like money, pleasure, power…I don't feel that they are fertile. Nothing will come out of there that I'm really interested in. Those are subjects that don't inspire me.”

  • She added, “Many times, the more masculine way of making music is about the hero: the me, what I've accomplished, what I have...blah blah blah. A more feminine way of writing, in my opinion, is like foraging. I'm aware of the stories that have come before me, the stories that are happening around me. I pick it up, I'm able to share it; I don't put myself at the center, right?”
