Florence + The Machine Releases New Song “Sympathy Magic”

British alt-rock band Florence + The Machine, consisting of Florence Welch (vocals), Isabella Summers (keyboards), Robert Ackroyd (guitar), Tom Monger (harp), Cyrus Bayandor (bass), Aku Orraca-Tetteh (percussion), Dionne Douglas (violin) and Loren Humphrey (drums), released a new song “Sympathy Magic” on October 27, 2025.
The song is the third and final pre-release single from their upcoming sixth studio album “Everybody Scream”, which is set to be released on October 31, 2025.
The band first performed the song on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
The track was written by Danny L Harle and Florence Welch. Produced by Florence Welch, Danny L Harle, and American rock band The National's Aaron Dessner.
The accompanying seven-minute music video was directed by longtime collaborator Autumn de Wilde.- The new album comprises 12 tracks, which the band worked with British post-punk band IDLES' Mark Bowen, American singer-songwriter. Mitski, and Aaron Dessner.
The record was inspired by the band lead singer Florence Welch's lifesaving surgery during the Dance Fever Tour in 2023.
