  • Mackenzy Mackay Releases New Song “Cats & Dogs”

  • London-based singer-songwriter Mackenzy Mackay released a new song “Cats & Dogs” on October 24, 2025 via Relentless Records and Arista Records.

The song is the follow-up to “Broke”, which was released last month.
The evocative track is a heartfelt ode to growing up in Britain, injected with the warmth and wisdom of a songwriter old beyond his years.
It was written by Bill Maybury, Mackenzy Mackay, and Eddie Allen, who also produced the track.

Mackenzy Mackay said of the song, “This song is about growing up in the UK, how it rains a lot but it never did us any harm. This is where I was brought up and it made me who I am today—it's simultaneously broken and built me at the same time. Wrote this with a couple mates while we were staying in an air bnb, this song is just about my home. Everyone's hometown has its flaws, but it makes them who they are.”

He added, “This song back in January with a couple good blokes Eddie Allen and Bill Maybury and I love how it turned out. Very happy to share this one with you and I Hope you like it.”
  • Mackenzy Mackay embarks on “Stripped Back Tour” in UK. The tour kicks off at Hallamshire Hotel in Sheffield on November 4 and will conclude at Hoxton Hall in London on November 21, 2025.

All Tickets for the sold-out Stripped Back Tour are capped at just £10 to ensure as many fans as possible can attend, regardless of their financial situation.

Mackenzy Mackay said of the tour, “We want to make it accessible and go back to that vibe of smaller rooms, smaller towns. When I was growing up, we couldn't go to any shows because, one, we lived in a town in the middle of nowhere and two, my mum couldn't afford it.”
