The Chainsmokers Releases New EP “Breathe”

American DJ duo The Chainsmokers, consisting of Drew Taggart and Alex Pall, released their fourth EP “Breathe” on October 24, 2025.
It marks their first project in over a year since the 2024 EP “No Hard Feelings”.
The EP comprises 8 tracks, featuring collaborations with British singer-songwriter ABSOLUTELY, London-born multi-instrumentalist Beau Nox, Toronto-based singer-songwriter Anna Sofia, German DJ BUNT., British-Ethiopian singer-songwriter Izzy Bizu, and American singer-songwriter Daya.
Produced by BUNT., The Chainsmokers and Ship Wrek .
The Chainsmokers said of the EP, “When we looked the song names of this EP, they all had something in common with the word 'Breathe'. Beyond that, the word serves as reminder to take a second to pause when faced with the demands of our chaotic world. The group of songs feels like a step on a path to somewhere. We aren't sure where yet. But these 8 songs belong together and will allow us to move on to what's next. We hope you enjoy them.”- The duo explained some tracks for the EP.
“White Wine & Adderall” featuring Beau Nox
Alex Pall: “It took a whole day to get the main three lines of this song. We sat with the incredible Beau Nox, scratching our heads and left the session, ultimately thinking nothing would come from the tiny hook we had written. A couple of days later Drew and I were talking about this UKG wave and I said I bet you can't make a version of this in that world. A few hours later, it was hitting pretty hard. It wasn't a song that we immediately imagined releasing but after playing it in many of our shows and seeing the reaction, it became clear to us it needed to come out. Last time I bet Drew he couldn't make a certain style of song, we ended up with Don't Let Me Down. After all these years, maybe this is how we work best.”
Beau Nox: “The lads are insanely talented. In a landscape where trends can sometimes overshadow substance, they continue to pioneer sound and music with originality and purpose. Couldn't think of a better way to preface my upcoming album.” -
“Spaces” with BUNT. and Izzy Bizu
BUNT.: They were like my childhood heroes, and I'm having that full circle moment where we were in the studio together and being here this will be insane. Two years ago I was driving my bike, delivering food for Uber Eats, and now I am standing here with these two legends. These two guys did so much for the EDM scene, so for me this is insanely special.
Maybe a small tear rolling down my face writing this but yesterday was one of these nights. The Chainsmokers were literally my childhood heroes. I had 'Closer' and 'Don't Let Me Down' on repeat in highschool and I guess I'm not the only one. And now this: a song + a back alley pop up together in New York. Thank you that I can live this dream peaking on happiness here.” - source : Apple Music
