  • 5 Seconds of Summer Announces “EVERYONE'S A STAR!” World Tour, Shares New Song “Telephone Busy”

  • Australian pop rock band 5 Seconds of Summer, consisting of Luke Hemmings (vocals/rhythm guitar), Michael Clifford (guitar), Calum Hood (bass) and Ashton Irwin (drums), has announced a massive 2026 world tour in support of their upcoming sixth studio album “EVERYONE'S A STAR!”, which is set to be released on November 14, 2025.

The tour kicks off at SSE Arena Belfast, UK on March 26, 2026 and will conclude at Kings Park Perth, Australia on November 6, 2026, with a total 68 shows.
Tickets to the tour go on sale to the general public on October 31, 2025.

Alongside the tour announcement, the band released a new song “Telephone Busy” on October 23, 2025.
The song is the third single off of the album, following “NOT OK” and “Boyband”.
It was written by Ashton Irwin, Calum Hood, Jason Evigan, Leland, Luke Hemmings, Michael Clifford, and Simon Wilcox. Produced by Jason Evigan.
  • The new album comprises 12 tracks, which the band recorded across 2024 and 2025 in Los Angeles and Nashville. It is the first release under their new label Republic Records.

The band frontman Luke Hemmings said of the album, “This band is made of four people who could all have their own solo albums where they do it all, sing it all, and write it all. Everyone's A Star! embodies all of that. We were teenagers at the beginning of 5 Seconds of Summer. We were writing with more naivete, but we said what we were thinking. As time goes on, you tend to get a bit more cautious about what you say, but I think this record has more of our original spirit - but with 15 years of wisdom and a dash of reckless abandon.”
