Hudson Westbrook Releases New Song “Pretty Privilege”

American country music singer-songwriter Hudson Westbrook released his brand new song “Pretty Privilege” on October 17, 2025.
The song is his first solo music since the debut album “Texas Forever” released back in July, and follows the collaborative song “Better Man Than Me” with American DJ Marshmello.
The track was co-written by frequent collaborators Beau Bailey, and Lukas Scott, who also produced it.
The accompanying music visualizer was directed by Emma Kate Golden and filmed at Cooks Garage in Lubbock, Texas last year, where Hudson Westbrook set up a vintage 1956 baby pink Dodge Custom Royal and gave fans a first listen to the new song.
Hudson Westbrook said of the song, “None of this would be possible without the people who listen to my music and have supported me so much over the last 18 months. I wanted to get them involved and have them be part of this next song in some way. I’m really proud of ‘Pretty Privilege,’ and am excited to show y’all what else we have up our sleeves over the next few months.”- Last October, he debuted with his first song “House Again”. The song amassed over 45 million streams on Spotify, and has been certified Gold Disc.
Reflecting on the debut song, Hudson Westbrook said, “A full year of House Again. When I started music at 19 ( a year and a half ago). I sat down with Neil Medley and Dan Alley with an Idea. All I had was 'kitchen used to be a dancehall'. We sat down and wrote the whole song and said goodbye. Little did we know we just created something so special and had no idea. My parents split back in the day and I felt like something had to be written about it. It’s cool to see that feelings are universal. Everyone’s going through something hard no matter what, but always remember that you can take a good lesson from anything hard. The world we live in ain’t easy. Thank y’all for supporting this song and supporting me. I love you guys more than you know and I can’t wait to keep writing songs for y’all.” - source : Apple Music
