Say Now Releases New Song “Supermarket”
London-based girl group Say Now, consisting of Ysabelle Angeli, Amelia Onuorah and Madeleine Haynes, released a new song “Supermarket” on October 10, 2025.
The song received its first play during BBC Radio 1's Future Artists with Sian Eleri. It is the follow-up to “Brick By Brick”, which was released back in June.
The track was co-written by British singer-songwriter RAYE, alongside Johan Lenox, and producer John Hill.
The accompanying music video, directed by Douglas Reddan, premiered on October 18, 2025.
The trio told Sian Eleri about the song, “I think when we first heard the song, it was one of the lines that really connected with us and stayed with us. Because I think we've all been through a moment where we've been in public. And gone crazy over a really small task that we had to compete because we were thinking about a boy's message that we got to send in the morning. So it's our favorite to perform, because it feels very real.”- They continued, “We've actually had this song in the bag for two years, so it's crazy. We always say we've got some of our 19 year old, 20 year old vocals on it. And then we've got 22 year old, 21 year old vocals on it now. So it's really been a process. But when RAYE gave the sign off because she actually wrote the song, which is so exciting. Gave the sign off. It felt like it was properly the time to have it.”
They added, “We first heard it, we were in the studio, and our Atlantic Records didn't tell us who it was. And we were like, Wait, we know who this voice is. Like, this is crazy. And then we were so excited. We were jumping around the room, like, we have to have this song. And then we spoke to her and like, her team and stuff, and since we put it out, they've been really supporting us.
