Magdalena Bay Releases Two New Songs “Human Happens” & “Paint Me A Picture”
Los Angeles-based synth-pop duo Magdalena Bay, consisting of Mica Tenenbaum (singer/songwriter) and Matthew Lewin (songwriter/producer), released two new songs “Human Happens” and “Paint Me A Picture” on October 17, 2025.
Two songs follow “Second Sleep” and “Star Eyes”, which were released last month.
Both songs were written and produced by Matthew Lewin and Mica Tenenbaum.
Two songs feature Nick Villa on drums and “Paint Me A Picture” features Myles Sweeney on piano.
The duo said of the songs, “Here’s another pair of songs that complement each other. Different than the last, different than the next.”- In celebration of the album “Imaginal Disk” first anniversary, the duo teased the release of the long-awaited album movie directed by Amanda Kramer.
