Scottish DJ Calvin Harris teamed up with British singer-songwriter Sam Smith again to release a new song “Desire” on July 28, 2023.
It is their first collaboration in five years since the 2018 UK No. 1 single “Promises”.
The track was written by Adam Wiles, Sam Smith, BURNS, and RØMANS. Produced by Calvin Harris and BURNS.
For Calvin Harris, the song follows up “Miracle” with British singer-songwriter Ellie Goulding, which was released back in March and reached No. 1 on the UK Singles chart.
He first performed the song during his massive summer 2023 residency at Ushuaïa Ibiza.
While, Sam Smith joined in the song after releasing “Vulgar” with American singer-songwriter Madonna and “Man I Am” from American fantasy film “Barbie” soundtrack.
Also, Sam Smith is currently touring Gloria the Tour in North America leg. Canadian singer-songwriter Jessie Reyez supports the tour.- source : Apple Music
