British singer-songwriter Gabrielle Aplin teamed up with Irish singer-songwriter Gavin James to release a new version of “Anyway” on May 10, 2023.
This marks the first collaboration between Gabrielle Aplin and Gavin James.
The original version of the song is featured on her fourth studio album “Phosphorescent”.
The track was written by Gabrielle Aplin, Gavin James and Liz Horsman. Produced by Mike Spencer and Liz Horsman.
Gabrielle Aplin said of the song, “I hope you love it. I think Gavin sounds so amazing on it!!”
The new album was released back in January. It is her first album in three years since the 2020 album “Dear Happy”.
Gabrielle Aplin said of the album, “This is a record that talks about regret, self-reflection, desire for change and finding yourself. It felt like I was making an album for the first time. The recording process really felt just so natural. It was great for me because it made me really get to know myself as to who I am right now, considering so much has changed.”- source : Apple Music
