  • The Big Moon Premieres New Song “Daydreaming” on BBC Radio 1

  • British alt-rock band The Big Moon, consisting of Juliette Jackson (vocals/guitar), Soph Nathan (guitar), Celia Archer (bass) and Fern Ford (drums), premiered a new song “Daydreaming” on BBC Radio 1's Future Sounds with Clara Amfo.

The song is the fourth single off of their upcoming third studio album “Here Is Everything”, which is out this Friday (October 14th) via Fiction Records.
It was written by Juliette Jackson. Produced by Juliette Jackson, Celia Archer, Adam 'Cecil' Bartlett and Fern Ford.
Juliette Jackson said of the song, “'Daydreaming' is a song I wrote in 2021. And it's weird because it's a really happy song. And I always say this song. I will say this is a song I wrote about breastfeeding. But I sort of looked back on it since and realized that it's this very cuddly woozy version of breastfeeding, which wasn't my experience at all, I found it really hard. But sometimes when I'm writing songs, it's like, I'm trying to conjure up a bit of a fantasy really. It's taken me a long time to realize that's what I was doing. But that's what's great about pop music, isn't it? It can be whatever mood you want it to be. And it's happy and it's sad all at the same time.”
The new album is their first LP in two years and comprises 11-track.
The band appeared on BBC Later with Jools Holland to perform “Wide Eyes” from the album.
