Apple's ARKit: Trixi Studios Showcases Augmented Reality Video like A-ha's Song “Take On Me”
- Back in June, Apple unveiled ARKit for iOS11 at WWDC 2017. Anyone will be able to create AR app with ARKit, which is arriving as part of iOS 11 this fall.
Trixi Studios, a Chicago-based augmented reality studio and that also created one of the first Google Tango launch apps "Phantogeist" before, created a demo video with ARKit like Norwegian band A-ha's the 1985 smash hit "Take On Me".
Also, Osama Abdel-Karim showcased ARKit paint demo, in which he used ARKit to virtually paint on a notepad using his fingers.
He has outlined the steps he used to create his ARKit demo and provided the full source code for the project.

ARKit is available on any iOS 11 device, but the world tracking features that enable high-quality AR experiences require a device with the A9 or later processor.
