American rock band Foo Fighters performed “Times Like These” during a primetime “Celebrating America” special in honor of Joe Biden's inauguration as the 46th President of the United States.
“This year our teachers were faced with unprecedented challenges, but through dedication and creativity, they faced those challenges head on,” frontman Dave Grohl said. “So this next song is for Mackenzie [Adams] and all of our unshakable teachers that enlighten our nation's kids every day.”
The song was released from their fourth studio album “One by One” in 2003. It was written by Chris Shiflett, Nate Mendel, Taylor Hawkins and Dave Grohl.
Last November, the band performed the song on Saturday Night Live, too.
Foo Fighters will release upcoming tenth studio album “Medicine at Midnight” on February 5, 2021. Originally scheduled for 2020, but the album was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.- source : Pitchfork
