Lawson Premieres New Song “Animals”
Last month, English pop-rock band Lawson made a comeback to release “Lovers”. It is their first single after their 4 year hiatus.
Following the song, the band has released a new song “Animals” as the second single under their new label Cooking Vinyl.
The sound is '80s adult contemporary music vibe. The band said, "Myself (Andy) and Ryan from the band wrote and produced the track. It’s 80s inspired, about wanting something you can’t have, and how we all have that animal instinct inside us. It was one of the first tracks we wrote for the album and set the tone for that style amongst the rest of the tracks."
Also, the band joined in Black Out Tuesday. The band shared, “Tomorrow's single launch was planned, and the track was delivered to the digital streaming platforms long before the brutal example of systemic racism we saw last week. We are unable to pull the single form coming out tomorrow at this late stage but we will not be engaging with the release until Wednesday and we hope our fans will do the same. We will be standing in solidarity with the rest of the music industry with TheShowMustBePaused and blackout Tuesday. BLACK LIVES MATTER.”- source : Spotify
