Swedish singer-songwriter Frida Sundemo released her brand new EP “Sounds in My Head” on May 29th via Cosmos Music.
The EP contains 5-track including a new single “Backbone” and is her first project in three years since the debut album “Flashbacks & Futures”.
Frida Sundemo said of the EP, “Sounds In My Head is about just that. Ideas and feelings inside of me translated into music”.
She explained each song of the EP below.
“Nothing Can Hurt Me”
“I want to convey the feeling of perfect freedom, the one that can be difficult to hold for more than a few seconds. I think if you have experienced moments as a child where you have complete security, then comes the rest of life where we try to find that feeling again.”
“Gazelles”
“It’s like you’re standing in front of an ocean of great choices but the fear of taking the wrong path is constantly picking you on the shoulder. Still, you’re overwhelmed by the beauty of the unknown.”- “Backbone”
"It is about that feeling when it suddenly hits you that you hurt someone you love. That mixed feeling of guilt, regret and endless love."
“Anything”
“'Anything' is about never giving up, not for your own sake or for the sake of the ones you love.”
“Backlashing”
