Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Melanie C Premieres New Song “Blame It On Me”
The Spice Girl's member Melanie C unveiled a new song “Blame It On Me” on May 27th.
The track is the second single off of her upcoming eighth solo album, following “Who I Am” released back in March.
The accompanying music video was directed by Sylvie Weber, who created Street Fighter style clip.
The new solo album is her first LP in four years since “Version of Me”, but it has been delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Melanie C said, “So we just decided to embrace it. It didn't feel appropriate for me to try to sell something right now, but the fans have been waiting for a song for ages and I love it. I'm so proud of it. I'm so excited about my new music and don't want it to disappear without a trace, which it could very well do in this situation.”- source : CLASH
