Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Kiesza Premieres New Music Video for “Crave”
Canadian singer-songwriter Kiesza premiered a new music video for “Crave” on May 26th.
The track was released back in April from her upcoming third studio album of the same title. It was written by Kiesza, Paul Phamous, Edvard Førre Erfjord and Henrik Michelsen.
The video was directed by Kiesza herself, James Barker and Ljuba Castot.
Kiesza shared on social media, “Guys I’m a huge DORK. But we already knew that. I thought yesterday was Monday and then found out it was Sunday, so all those posts about the video coming out today were a day off! Sort of. The video comes out at midnight tonight east coast time (EST) In the mean time here’s more from the BTS of the Crave shoot in NYC...literally shot just days before quarantine kicked in and borders shut down!!! Shout out to @chaoticdj and @ljubalicious !!!!”
She wrote the song during her spontaneous trip to Norway. “This is one of my favourite songs of my career. The energy just hits right way, right from the very first chord and carries you with it right through to the end. It’s so fun to sing and I’m honestly so happy that this song exists. I’ll be proud to sing this one forever.”
The album “Crave” is set to be released on June 12th via her own label Zebra Spirit Tribe.
Last month, she released the short film “Storm”, which supports frontline workers on COVID-19 and is encouraging fans to donate at teamstorm.org.- source : YouTube
