Swedish singer-songwriter Clara Mae teamed up with American DJ Gnash to release a new song “Overused” along with a music video.
The track follows up “Run Into You” released back in April. It was written by Clara Mae, Gnash, Cassandra Casso Ströberg and Daniel Webber, produced by Pontus Persson.
Also the song will appear on her upcoming EP “Drunk On Emotions”.
“What if I leave now before reality kicks in, before the fights and the hurt,” Clara Mae explained. “Before the overuse. Then I can look back at this and just remember the good, the way we are right now.”
“Clara and I wanted to make something to show how it feels to be tired in any relationship or situation,” Gnash said. “With my partner, the love is always real, but sometimes we can just get exhausted with each other. That’s okay, but it’s easily misunderstood when it’s not communicated directly.”- source : Idolator
