American rock band Paramore's Hayley Williams unveiled her debut EP “Petals for Armor Ic and the third Warren Fu-directed video for “Cinnamon” on February 6th.
“I thought it best to start the journey this way,” Hayley Williams said of the EP. “Some real heavy themes…let’s get this carthasis today, people.”
This is the first EP in a series of three records including her upcoming debut solo album “Petals for Armor“, which is out on May 8th.
Recently she told Apple Music’s Zane Lowe about the album’s themes of grief and depression, admitting that she had suicidal thoughts.
“Because life is still hard,” she said. “It didn’t become a breeze overnight or anything and it’s been years and it’s still not a breeze, but it’s so rich and now that I’m taking account of all these feelings and I’m feeling all of them, there’s this beautiful rainbow versus just the deep end.”
