Carly Rae Jepsen Unveils Live Recording Of “The Sound”
Back in May, Canadian singer-songwriter Carly Rae Jepsen released her fourth studio album “Dedicated” for the first time in four years.
She had written more than 200 songs for the album and recorded in Sweden, Nicaragua and Los Angeles. The albums debuted at No. 18 on the Billboard 200.
After the release of the album, she visited Finland with her band and filmed a live recording of “The Sound”.
The video was filmed at a remote lakeside jetty in Lapland’s Ruka-Kuusamo region.
The song is the ninth track of the album. It was written by Carly Rae Jepsen, Tommy English, Noah Beresin and Jared Manierka.
Carly Rae Jepsen is currently running The Dedicated Tour in Asia and Oceania between October and December.
