  • Harry Connick Jr. Covers Cole Porter's “Mind If I Make Love To You”

  • Jazz legend Harry Connick Jr. will release his 27th studio album “True Love: A Celebration Of Cole Porter” on October 25, 2019. It is his first album since the 2015 album “That Would Be Me”.

The new album features American composer Cole Porter's songs. Cole Porter is better known for Broadway musical “Kiss Me, Kate”, which won the first Tony Award for Best Musical.
“This is the first time I’ve taken a deep dive into another artist’s repertoire, and Cole Porter was my #1 choice for the project. His lyrics are witty and nuanced and he takes risks as a composer that I find appealing” Harry Connick Jr. said.
Last month, the lead single “Just One Of Those Things” was released from the album with an accompanying music video directed by Bobby Bruderle.
Followed by, he released “Mind If I Make Love To You” as the second single on October 4th.
“Mind If I Make Love To You” was written for the 1956 film “High Society”, where it was sung by Frank Sinatra to Grace Kelly.
“True Love: A Celebration Of Cole Porter” is available to pre-order here.
