  • Taylor Swift appeared on BBC Radio 1 the Live Lounge, where she covered Phil Collins' 2002 “Can't Stop Loving You”.


    In addition, she performed her latest 5 songs "Lover", "Holy Ground", "London Boy", "You Need To Calm Down" and "The Archer" from her latest album "Lover”.
    “Can't Stop Loving You” was released by Phil Collins in 2002. The original song was written by Billy Nicholls as "I Can't Stop Loving You (Though I Try)" and released by Leo Sayer from his 1978 self-titled album. The track reached No. 6 on on the UK Singles Chart.
    Also, American Southern rock group the Outlaws covered the song in 1980.
    Phil Collins hasn't performed the song since the end of his 2005 First Final Farewell tour. He will take place Not Dead Yet comeback tour in the US in September and October.
    Taylor Swift's new album “Lover” was released on August 23rd, featuring guest appearances from Dixie Chicks and Brendon Urie of Panic! at the Disco.
    The album reached No. 1 on US Billboard 200 and UK Albums chart.
