Norwegian singer-songwriter Astrid S released her fourth EP “Trust Issues” on August 30th for the first time in two years.
The EP is including recent singles “Emotion”, “Someone New” and “The First One”. Produced by TMS and The Monsterz and Strangers.
Unfortunately, the collaboration song "Sing It with Me" with JP Cooper does not appear on the EP.
Astrid S said how creating her music, “I draw inspiration from my own range of emotions, conversations with friends or if I see a movie and relate to a character. I tend to write things down on my phone and bring it up in the studio for discussion and then we brainstorm together, which turns into the creative process where many of my tracks are made.”
She will embark on Stripped Down Tour in Europe, the US and the UK this month. The tour kicks off at Trondheim, Norway on September 11th.- “It still amazes me when I visit a country I’ve never been to before and I see or hear the audience sing my lyrics word by word. That’s how I am with my favorite artists and it’s quite surreal to see other people do that too only with my music,” she said. “I love performing at 1000 capacity gigs, it’s big – but still intimate enough for me to see the faces of the audiences and I really like that.”
