Nashville-based alt-pop singer-songwriter Jillian Steele has unveiled a new song “No Expectations”.
The song is her first solo single of 2019 and co-written by Michel Heyaca and James Shelley.
Jillian Steele said of the song, “Life was happening around me and I was just in it without any control and through this song I gained insight that I do deserve things and I should have expectations of what I want.”
The 21-year-old singer moved to Nashville when she was 18 to study songwriting at Belmont University.
Last year, she joined in Boston-based producer Goons's "Know You" as guest vocals. Back in April, she collaborated with Nashville-based artist Casey Derhak and performed "Before He Wrote This Song" on his EP "Southern Pop, Vol. 1".- source : Pop Dust
