Recently, American EDM trio Major Lazer has changed lineup, longtime member Jillionaire has departed the group. Ape drums has stepped in as his replacement.
The new trio teamed up with Brazilian singer-songwriter Anitta to release a new song “Make It Hot”.
It is their first collaboration since 2017's “Sua Cara”. The new track was written by Boaz van de Beatz, Robin “YODA” P. Francesco, Nija, Diplo and Anitta.
“It’s amazing when you work in synergy with someone who completes you artistically,” Anitta said in a press release. “Having the opportunity to write/compose another song with Major Lazer was really special. We have developed this energy that is similar to being around family and close friends when we work together. It’s good to be able to bounce ideas off each other and that’s something that happens naturally now. I think it’s difficult for anyone to listen to this song and remain still.”- 8GIcodbY9fc
