Australian rapper Allday performed his new song “Restless” with Australian pop duo The Veronicas in triple j's Like A Version studio.
The song was released on June 7th and will appear on his upcoming third album “Starry Night Over the Phone”, which is set to be released on July 12, 2019. The album is his first LP in two years.
The track reflects on specific moments of his past relationship.
Following the new song, he covered Canadian singer-songwriter Joni Mitchell’s “Big Yellow Taxi” with The Veronicas, Japanese Wallpaper and Simon Lam (Kilo).
“Big Yellow Taxi” was released by Joni Mitchell in 1970 from her third album "Ladies of the Canyon". The song reached No. 11 on the UK Singles chart. Later, she released a live version of the song, which reached No. 24 on US Billboard Hot 100.- xWrnNswUbUc
