Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Keane Announces New Album “Cause and Effect”, Releases New Song “The Way I Feel”
British alt-rock band Keane announced that their fifth studio album “Cause and Effect” will be released on September 20, 2019.
And the band premiered the first single “The Way I Feel” on BBC Radio 2 with an accompanying music video, directed by former 10cc drummer Kevin Godley, from the album.
The new album is their first LP in seven years. “I found myself wondering how I had come to let this very enigmatic and important relationship in my life drift,” frontman Tom Chaplin said of the album.
“Hopes and Fears was a break-up album too, but it was about a break-up when I was 19,” Tim explains. “It’s a bit different when you’re older and you’ve got kids – your whole little world shifts on its axis.”
The album comprises of 11-track and recorded in London and Sussex. Written by Keane and produced by David Kosten and the band themselves.- source : RTÉ
