Ingrid Michaelson Unveils New Song “Jealous”
- Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter Ingrid Michaelson has unveiled a new song “Jealous” from her upcoming eighth studio album “Stranger Songs”.

The album is inspired from Netflix’s mystery series "Stranger Things". The album comprises of 11-track and is set to break released on June 28th.
“[It] was inspired by the moment in the show when Eleven knocks Max off of her skateboard,” Ingrid Michaelson reveals.
“She knows it’s not like her to do something like that, and I related,” she continues. “I do bad things when I’m jealous, and I thought that was a relatable concept. I have gotten a lot better. I think it’s good to admit the things you need to work on, maybe even sing about them.”
She will embark Stranger Songs Tour in support of the album this fall. The tour kicks off at 930 Club in Washington DC on September 24th and will conclude at Webster Hall in New York on October 29th.
