Indian singer-songwriter Ananya Birla released her long-awaited debut EP “Fingerprint” on May 17, 2019 via UMG and Island Records UK.
The EP comprises of 4-track and features guest appearances from Nigerian rapper Vector and American-Nigerian singer Wurld.
According to her, the EP features a deeply personal collection of songs. “This EP is really authentic to me and my own experiences. It's mostly about love - the good and the bad,” Ananya Birla explained in a statement. “I wanted to cover the holistic journey, from falling in love to heartbreak to reconciliation. It took me a while to realise that life isn't all about competing to a finish line - something which I've often struggled to do. It's about enjoying every step of the journey.”- Ananya Birla signed to Universal Music India in 2016 and debuted with her first song "Livin' the Life". Since then, she has released several singles "Meant to Be", "Circles" and "Hold On".
