Swedish singer-songwriter and Swedish Idol alumni, Ola Svensson has released 5 albums as Ola. But he changed his stage name to Brother Leo from Ola last year.
He signed to Columbia Records as Brother Leo, and released two songs "Strangers On an Island" and "Push Up".
Back in April, his third single “Shine” was released. He teamed up with GRAMMY® Award-nominated songwriter and producer Elof Loelv to co-write the song. Followed by, he dropped a new music video for the song, directed by Amitay Leopold.
The track will appear on his upcoming debut album, which is expected to be released this year.
Ola Svensson said of the song “‘Shine’ is the first song I wrote for my upcoming album. In a way, it was also the birth of what would become Brother Leo. I was in a pretty dark place when this song came to life. The writing process out to be quite therapeutic and became a turning point for me, both personally and creatively. To some, this will probably just be another happy tune, and that’s more than fine by me—but for me, it’s something totally different.”- source : Idolator
