Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ SYML Unveils New Music Video for “Wildfire”
Seattle-based singer-songwriter Brian Fennell, aka SYML dropped a new music video for “Wildfire” directed by Jordan Taylor Wright.
Last January, he released the alternate version of the song. At that time, he tweeted, “The west coast of the US has been dealing with wildfires since the summer that have wreaked havoc. It struck me that in these seasons of destruction and loss, someone might need to hear that there is hope and that they matter. I wrote Wildfire as my response to that.”
The new version of the song will appear on his upcoming self-titled debut album and was premiered on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 radio show on March 21st.
Before the release of the video, he performed the song at Riverview Bungalow in Austin, TX on March 19th.
The album was preceded by four songs including "CLEAN EYES", "WDWGILY", "THE BIRD" and "Where's My Love".
